LPT: Going on a vacation? Clean your house and gas up your car before leaving. Having to clean your place after returning from a vacation or filling up your car on your first post-vacation work day is an awful way to start the week.
ReplyDeleteThis LifePro Tip is very accurate. As someone who is considered borderline OCD when it comes to organization in the house, a clean house is essential to being satisfied with the day. A Navy SEAL once said, "Start off the day by making your bed." To wake up and immediately complete such a menial task is to grant yourself a little pride in yourself before the day even gets going. People go away to relax. They go to clean hotels with room service, they stay in nice houses that are put together, and they stay away from everyday, busy life. Leaving your house with that little pride of having overcome the messy house can get your vacation off on a good note. When you come back you will be able to smile at the shiny counters rather than frown at the dirty stack of dishes in the sink. Cleaning beforehand will be one less thing to worry about after a tiring vacation.

The LifePro tip - This is very useful tip because so true. In order to become sucessful with anything in life, you need to have consistence, procrastionation leads to a lack of getting things done.Which then leads to failure. Putting time and effort into things you are working towards will yield greater results in the future rather than rather than putting no effort towards it at all
LPT: LPT: Applying for jobs with a PDF resume? See if you can copy and paste text from it with no problem. If you can't, the program they use to parse resumes probably can't either
ReplyDeletethe lifepro tip: this is a good tip because if you cant copy paste the text then your at a disadvantage, the same thing goes for links. i know this because i talked to someone on the train when i was in the city for my college class signups and they were a model who had both a online portfolio and a hard copy.
LPT: Librarians aren't just random people who work in libraries they are professional researchers there to help you find a place to start researching your topic.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good tip because most people just assume that librarians can only help you locate a book. Although that is helpful, knowing that they can also provide significant help on a project or paper may be the difference between a mediocre grade and a great grade.
LPT: When getting a new puppy, bring a shirt you have worn for a few days along and use it for their bed. This will help the puppy learn your scent and get comfortable quicker.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good tip because if you want to get a puppy, it won't know your scent and will be scared of you in the beginning. This tip actually works for cats, dogs, bunnies, etc. Many pet owners should know this tip if they want their puppy comfortable with them.
